We’re days away from the arrival of ITZY’s latest mini album “Guess Who” and the anticipation among fans is real. It’s been over eight months since ITZY’s last album, “Not Shy” dropped, showcasing their departure from youthful concepts seen in the previous ‘IT’z’ albums. As the group continues to share various promotional content with no roadmap as to when it’s going to drop, fans’ excitement for the album is in overdrive.

As we gear up for the release of ITZY’s “Guess Who” album on April 30th at 12:00 am EST, here are three reasons we’re looking forward to it:

1. Extension of "Not Shy"

“Not Shy” signaled ITZY’s next chapter as they transitioned from a teenage girl-crush concept to mature young women. The ultra-modern and bewitching teaser images of “Guess Who” take that idea a step further by transforming them into modern femme fatales.

2. The track list

The album features six tracks including the title track “Mafia in the Morning,” composed, written, and co-produced by JYPE found, Park Jin Young. The unique tracklist gives a mysterious vibe that seemingly showcases ITZY’s growth and maturity as artists, a step up from previous albums. We can only hope that we get a music video for a b-side track as well.

3. Global artist the world pays attention to

From being the fastest girl group to win a music show first place trophy and attending Paris Fashion Week in September 2019 to having the quickest music video to reach 100 million views for a K-Pop group and more, ITZY has been making waves not only across the K-Pop industry but across the globe since their debut. They’ve also drawn attention from major foreign media outlets, including Teen Vogue, Rolling Stone, Elle, and i-D magazines. Recently named the first K-Pop global spokesmodels for Maybelline New York ITZY is set to make a global statement about self-love, individuality, and self-expression - something that has never been done before.

Are you looking forward to ITZY's return?
