3 Reasons To Look Forward to Golden Child's New Album, "YES."

Jan 23, 2021

Golden Child has been turning up the heat all month long for their 5th mini album "YES,” dropping on January 25!  Containing a total of six tracks, the group’s upcoming release showcases the group’s talent as a unit as well as their individual talents as well. Among these spectacular tracks, all but one track is credited to the group’s rappers Jangjun and Tag. From multiple music video teasers of their title track “Burn It” to daily V Live updates, the group has been effortlessly teasing their fans, Goldeness, with what’s to come.

Here are three reasons to look forward to this highly anticipated album:

1. A BLOND CHOI BOMIN

Due to his acting and MCing commitments outside the group, never in a million years would I have thought that Choi Bomin would dye his hair, but WOW. It is a beautiful sight.

2. THE WEBTOON

Golden Child made me forget for a moment that they are releasing new music with their webtoon teaser. The members are separated into their own plots and seemingly own stories fighting to survive.

3. SULTRY CONCEPT

Leaving behind their boy-next store concept from their 4th mini-album Pump It, which dropped in October, Golden Child dives headfirst into a more sultry concept. From monochromatic outfits and deliberately exposed skin that gives off the right amount of sexy to thoughtfully chosen accessories, the members look more mature, furthering adding to their appeal.
